A tricky brief as the iconography of podcast tends to be quite staid. But also the design had to be recognisable/relatable.

I came up with around nine concepts and we whittled it down to the final choice which I then refined before producing a series of version for print, screen and even a perspex award…


For the 2019 awards I had a chance to update and refine the logo slightly, so I did, changing the microphone texture to a halftone, changing the font and making the text placement a little less jaunty. Oh, and I debranded the apple earphones.
